Anybody use smartphone link (the free part, i am a skinflint) What are your views?

I like and use it, though the beeps from aircraft and weather advisories can be annoying sometimes. Having the weather and traffic is nice.

I thought the traffic was subscribtion ?

It's a one-time payment.  $4.99 if memory serves.  For the price of a large Starbucks it's worth it.

I use it on several Garmin sat navs and find the live traffic information invaluable on unfarmiliar routes. All free in the UK
