Amazing what a difference dropping a few feet in altitude can make.
Last weeks trip to the Pyrenees
Re: Last weeks trip to the Pyrenees
Hi, some trip! Where and at what altitude was the 'snow' photo taken? I'll be crossing the Pyrenees between 06/09 June from Perpignan - Andorra - following the N260 and N240 to get the ferry at Santander and I'm wondering what to expect. Regards.

Taken on the Col de la Pierre St Martin. Travelling from Alfaro to Mirepoix. I believe it's the D132 on the French side. Had to google the elevation but it's in the region of 1700 meters.
Enjoy your trip.

Many thanks Mike, not sure if 2.5 weeks will make much difference to the snow in the Pyrenees but we shall see!

I'm off to the grossglockner in just under 2 weeks, the last report that I saw showed it still closed to bikes....
