Re: Northern Monkey meet.
Was speaking to Dave(f1uk) last night, is there any interest in trying to get the Northern Monkeys up and running again in 2020.

Re: Northern Monkey meet.
I'd be interested in a few rides, have to be Sundays though, got family commitments on Saturdays.
The GS 'is' the better bike :-)

Sundays are fine with me too, will have to avoid F1 weekends for Dave(f1uk).

I’m Ok for it. I’m ok for F1 at the moment. With the Virus crap it’s been cancelled until possibly May now.

Re: Northern Monkey meet.
Based on those NM's who have expressed an interest, Garforth still looks like a reasonably central starting point for a circular ride out.
There is a Sainsbury's Café at Garforth, would folks prefer this to McDonalds for breakfast,

Morrisons at Wetherby has always traditionally been the NM's meeting place. Might just be a little too far for those W & NW of Manchester.
Coming from "Up North", Wetherby is best for me. What's your preference?

Garforth was suggested with you & I in mind. BaseCamp comes up with 1 hr, 8 min from Wigan & 1 hr for me from Ingleby Barwick.Davef1uk wrote:Garforth if have to choose.
Scunthorpe is about the same. The Manchester boys are the winners here.

Hi David, I am scunny1 but got locked out of the forum and was unable to get back in after many efforts to reset, hence complete re register and new name.

Hi Chris, thought that might have been the case but didn't want to be presumptuous, good to have you back onboard with the NM's.scunny12 wrote:I am scunny1.

Re: Northern Monkey meet.
Still following Speedway, but I fear I watched my last meeting yesterday for a good few months. Coronavirus will ban it this week and many foreign riders unable to travel to and from Europe and beyond. Bad times!
