Cheers. Just checked on Nippy Normans and the ones they show won`t fit with extra lights. Much obliged.

The idea of mirrors is you don't have to look in the opposite direction you are going as you only have eyes at the front . Life savers are different.

Thanks for the clarification, but I think I have been riding long enough to understand the concept of mirrors. But each to their own.

I’ve improved my standard mirrors with small circular blind spot mirrors fitted on each on my rt and don't feel the need for any extra mirrors. The research was to assist those that wanted to go that route.
As for lifesavers over each shoulder I look upon them as a last minute safety check before deviating to left or right from the current course.
With regular mirror checks I’d prefer to be able to see clearly what’s behind me all the time as probably do others seeking another solution.

Its not popular to comment or disagree with the herd on forums, but that is the beauty of them, everyone can express their views in a constructive way. My own personal view is, as I have stated, I have no issues with the mirrors and also don't have any issues with the mirrors on the RTps I ride. I also understand what a shoulder check is, I have been an IAM and RoSPA member for years and have to pass the tests every 3 years. I don't intend to cause offence, but we all have our own views on being a riding God :)

Please show us placement pictures and brand of blind spot mirrors and where did you purchase them?

Have to agree with Casbar i never rely solely on my mirrors , always put in my life saver , my other gripe is if you are paying around 15/17 grand for a motorcycle you should not have to add anything to it , however safe riding to all members who read this thread .

Did you buy these clamps or did you take them off a GS.  Cheers.
BobM, I purchased them from a BMW dealership but found the part numbers on a R1200GS "parts book" slide.
2020 R1250RT, 2021 Triton ST-125, 1960 SII Land Rover.
