Re: Finding excuses for a ride?
I've heard some people are still hiding behind their sofa waiting for the radio/TV to tell them what to do next
The GS 'is' the better bike :-)

A different picture in Helmsley, where folks were doing what they have been told to do.
"The bikers were abiding by social distancing guidelines".

Re: Finding excuses for a ride?
Was that before or after the Police arrived. Seem to be having words with someone. Maybe congratulating him on his social distancing. ???

Nice ride out to Stratford today, bit breezy on the open stretches of the A422.
Few bikes around in Stratford but seemed to be mature gents in groups of two or three.

Re: Finding excuses for a ride?
The IAM seem to think they don't need an excuse anymore.
"IAM RoadSmart group rides can also resume from Monday 1 June, in England where six people will be allowed to meet outdoors, as long as social distancing is still observed."

Cleveland & North Yorkshire Police enjoying a day out at Whitby.
"Today out and about in North Yorkshire with our bike colleagues.
Engaging and offering professional advice to stay safe on the roads to other motorcyclists.
Later followed by community engagement around Middleton in Teesdale."
Top tip, keep clear of Whitby & Middleton-in-Teesdale.
