If its a BMW dealer ask him for a clear diagnostic scan.
Are you getting any sort of warranty.
Has it got a service history of receipts not just book stamps.

Hi All
I`m still awaiting delivery of the bike, its from a dealer, not BMW. It comes with full BMW service history, dealer has agreement taking bolder bikes fro BMW. It has a 3 month warranty.

Unless you do most stuff yourself, may be worth looking at a BMW warranty

INterested to see how you like it.
I too am a new to BMW owner....a 2007 R 1200 RT....and am in the process of trying to find an upgrade to the seat.  That's my only complaint so far....can't tolerate the seat position.  But where is the market for aftermarket and replacement parts?
