David. wrote:Hopefully, after today's deliberations, (inc. speaking to Markus),  the new routes can now be confirmed.

There is one for a Clockwise direction and one for an Anti-Clockwise direction.

The Manor Farm café has been included in both, if necessary, Morrisons at Cambourne is included as a waypoint but not in the routes themselves.
Have been back through this thread, my PM's and emails in the hope that I've identified all those who have requested a copy of the route(s) for the RT meet.

If you now haven't got the most recent Clockwise & Anti-Clockwise routes and would like a copy, please let me know.

Thanks for putting a route together David. I don’t have the fancy sat nav, so will happily follow someone and try not to get lost.

I do however appreciate your efforts planning it and sending me a copy - thank you.

If the "groups of no more than six" is still in place, you can either follow me or Simbo who has very kindly volunteered to lead a group too. This will obviously cater for up to 12 riders/pillions. The two groups would have to ride in opposite directions to avoid clashing (not crashing) at the P&T stops. I hope this is acceptable to all attendees.

Given the choice, I would prefer to ride Clockwise, Markus (on a Triumph Tiger 1050) is always happy to back mark a group.

If Simbo is on his GS, how about we ask Tim on his GS to back mark this group, travelling in an Anti-clockwise direction.

I know that things may change, but would just like to get my thoughts out in the open, thank you.

Tim will be more than happy to back mark, albeit he won’t be on a GS. He sold his GS whilst waiting for a brand new one to be delivered from Germany, which lockdown has delayed.

He’s still coming though. He’ll be on my bright orange CB500. It’s more capable than you think ;-)

Just checked the Premier Inn website and the Peterborough Ferry Meadows is coming up as fully booked for the 10th/11th July.  I hope that this doesn't mean that they're  going to cancel bookings like the last  place. Checked my booking on the website and its still shown as reserved.

Tim has bought himself an older GS to use on the trip, so he can ‘blend in’ better than having to use my orange Honda!

John's booked now. He rides a GTR (small penis apparently?)  but we can overlook that fact for one weekend of the year, Plus his bikes 'Grey' so it looks similar to an RT if you cover one eye and poke yourself in the other. 👍

Excellent, I'll add his name to the growing list of attendees.
