Re: 2020 Annual RT Meet
Weather is already sorted yeah we'll be meeting up in the evening for a beer or two, we'll probably order a takeaway if there's nothing available near by?

Re: Eating at 2020 Annual RT Meet
Hi all,
I have done some research about where we might take our meals over the weekend and run it by David this afternoon.
Evenings:- There are a couple of Carvery-style restaurants nearby - but not with walking distance unfortunately. One is a Toby Carvery here:-
TOBY CARVERY PETERBOROUGHAshbourne Road, Hampton, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, PE7 8BT
I suggest we eat at 19:30 on Friday evening to give Mike S time to arrive. Would all those who would like to eat there - and you can always get a take-away at Ferry Meadows if you prefer - please respond ASAP. I have made a provisional booking for 6 people. If more want to eat, then I will need a volunteer to make a second booking for the remainder (as I cannot make two bookings). There is no guarantee that the the tables will be adjacent, but I think we can cope with that.
Mornings:- Right next to the hotel is a Notcutts Garden Centre which will do cooked breakfasts from 9:00. In order to make a good start on Saturday's riding (4 hours riding plus up to 3 hours of stops), we should not take too long over this if at all possible.
We look forward to hearing from you all.
Kind Regards,
John (beemerboy9)

Re: 2020 Annual RT Meet
Thanks John. I'd like to join you at the Toby inn. Appreciate that you made the booking.
I'll rearrange things at home and set off a bit earlier, hopefully get to the PI at 18.30.

Thanks for taking the time to do the research John we'll probably play it by ear and see what's available when we get there.

Thanks again John, I've passed the info. on to Markus.
He won't be dining with you on Friday evening but may take advantage of breakfast on Saturday morning.

Re: 2020 Annual RT Meet
Having made contact locally with Markus and Simbo (the NW posse leader), it's all systems go for tomorrow.
They plan to meet for lunch at Willingham Woods between 12:30 & 13:30.
(Other P&T stops before Willingham Woods are at Market Weighton and after at Grantham.
If there are any locals who wouldn't mind sharing phone numbers and acting as weathermen, that would be much appreciated).
I'm definitely going, but depending on the weather, may take a more direct route via Doncaster to Peterborough on my own.
Looking forward to the weekend and meeting up with the Southern Softies! The forecast for the day ride out on Saturday looks good.

Re: 2020 Annual RT Meet
Excellent news Darren, my riding group for Saturday was starting to look a bit depleted, room for one more in my gang of six.

Re: 2020 Annual RT Meet
It gets better, well done Dave, it's shaping up to be the best turn out for an RT meet over the last 5 years.
That's the official photographer sorted, you'll have to photoshop out the none RT riders.
