Possibly, I just posted some info for the benefit of other owners. Not had the fuse error since I freed up the flap. Could just be coincidence at the end of the day

David, I’ve now replicated your work and the video... it worked amazingly well. My exhaust flap is now moving freely and the servo close and opens it when the ignition comes on.
