What is this?
Hi All. New to the forum here. I am packing for a trip through several western states. As I was packing, I noticed this turn thingy on each side case. Anyone know what they are for? I thought it was used as part of the disassembly of the case, but it seems inconsistent with the screws that’s are used.

Hi, and welcome to the Forum.
It's to give you access to internal parts - on the topbox, for example, it allows you to remove the lock barrel for re-coding by use of a special tool without fully dismantling the box. I suspect it's there for the same reason on the panniers. Pop it out, shine a light in there and have a look!

Re: What is this?
Thanks Pete. That makes perfect sense...and given that it is inline with the lockset, I am confident your 100% correct.
Thanks for that.
