Iphone mount

Post by axufeeney »

Can anyone suggest a mount to affix my Iphone to my 2012 R1200RT?  I have looked at Quadlock, and other items from others vendors -- there is a lot to wade through.  Thanks.

X-Grip works well with any Ram ball system.

Has anyone bought one of the “Wunderlich phone adapter for SP-Connect fitment on stub handlebars“, if so could you please advise the length and diameter of the parallel end. I’m thinking it might be suitable for my Quadlock phone case.Thanks[attachimg=1]

22mm Diameter, 30mm long.

I use a handle bar adapter on it to mount a GoPro remote

Thanks, that’s very useful, sadly I think it means my Quad Lock won’t fit.

Either of these would allow you to fit your existing case with it:

I’ve been using the Quadlock handlebar mount, which is about 50 mm long so sadly wont fit on the Wunderlich adaptor.  I think I’m going to add the vibration dampener that has just been launched.

Tackform mounts, similar to RAM but all metal and smaller all-metal ball. Has a mount similar to he Wunderlich mount that goes into bars.

If it was me I would just get something like this: https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorc ... rod/460392

No need to get the expensive (£56) power hub if you don't want to, just get one of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00W42FBF6 and run it through a small gap you leave in the zip - that's what I do although I don't have my phone setup so I can see it, I control it if required via Nav VI which does all I would want on the move
