Cleaning/treating black plastic pieces

2009 RT1200RT - Any advice on how to treat black plastic pieces, for example the inner half of the side bags, the cylinder head guards, and other pieces that are molded black plastic and not painted?
They look like something that would shine up with Armor All (a product available in the USA, nor sure elsewhere),but I'm not sure and don't want to cause any damage.

ACF-50 works a treat too, plus protects any metal fixings etc. at the same time.

Cheap silicone spray works for me. The stuff that you use on bumpers etc.
A can costs next to nothing and lasts ages.
Tried ACF50, gave a nice finish but seemed to attract dirt and was a bugger to wash off.

Be carefully where you spray ACF50 as it can cause rubber boots, gaskets and rubber joints to swell. Not good near brake calipers as it can cause the seals to hold the pistons and the brakes to drag.
