Newbie in North Yorks

Post by Midnight Runner »

Just purchased a new 1250 LE in mineral grey metallic. I've already found this forum very helpful and will be picking up on all the tips and tricks.
I also have a GSA 1200 so I'm familiar with the boxer engine but the 1250 is a definite improvement. I'm loving riding this thing even though I'm still being careful/running in.
I've bought the RT for tours and rides with my wife. We normally do a couple of Euro trips a year but not this year. ::) .
Will be planning more UK based adventures for the time being. Cheers for now.

Welcome, whereabouts in North Yorks are you. I'm in Ingleby Barwick which is south of the River Tees, therefore, "officially" in North Yorkshire too.

Welcome! I've always found that this forum is one of the most friendly and informative.

I've just bought a Mineral Grey too! Although, there are no additional driving lights on mine. I was happy to get the colour-matched topbox, but I think it's a bit mean-spirited of BMW not to include the brakelight!
About 800 miles on mine now. Running-in service done last week. I'm impressed with it so far.
