Seized Torx Bolt

Trying to fit luggage protection on my 2019 RTLE , one torx bolt (i,m using a T50 torx key  ) (the bolt is stamped BMW 10.9) well i cannot shift it tried heat as well and now my Torx key is slipping any idea,s please especially easy ones !!!!!

BMW love putting blue thread lock on everything, Acetone might be your friend.

Be VERY VERY careful if using acetone. It will destroy your paint in seconds.
It may be good, but the risk of destroying paint is high.
On the thread you linked to, it also mentioned using IPA. I have never found this to be that successful.
However, have you tried WD40? I know that this will not soften the encapsulant, but it may make life a little easier.

If the torx bolt socket head is becoming or has rounded out, (slipping key),  hammering in an oversized hex key might help.
The hammer action plus a six point hex rather than a multi point torx tool might work.

The damaged bolt can always be replaced.

A flat punch and a slight tap at the bottom of the female torx area seems to help.

Is it a bolt that supports the engine - if so is it worth jacking up the engine a touch to take the strain off the bolt? HTH.

Impact driver and a good tap should sort it .

Exactly what bolt is this?
