Live feed for camera
I want to fit a camera to my bike but I want the live feed to be switched. I intend to take the feed from the rear power socket. Can anyone tell me what colour the live wire is in order for me to tap into it.

Re: Live feed for camera
I'm also looking to fit camera(s) to my 1250 when it hopefully arrives in March.I can manage the battery connection, but as I haven't got a rear power socket, is there an easy switched live that a technophobe can easily access please?
ThanksKeep safe

What spec have you purchased, my 1250 LE came with two sockets. Unless they have changed the spec for the 2021 models of course

Thanks for answering.
Same as my 2017 1200, I went for the basic and added what I 'needed', cruise control, heated seats, gearshift, spots etc, I haven't asked for the second power socket.

If a second rear power socket is available as an optional extra, there is a good chance the wiring will be there and can be used as a switched live.paynes1 wrote:I haven't asked for the second power socket.

Thanks for that. I was wondering the same, I'll check at the dealers next time we speak. They just phoned before I saw this to say that the bike is on the production line.David. wrote: If a second rear power socket is available as an optional extra, there is a good chance the wiring will be there and can be used as a switched live.
