Cam service.

Post by Dartman340ta »

Well I thought it was going to be a+pain in back side.  But I bought the tools needed to do the service.  While at the dealer I ask how much it would be to do the service.  650$$$ tools 480$$ .... no brainer there.  At first I thought I’ll try this with out the tools    Ha.    Good luck with that.  But you could save some cash if you have some round stock. For the Alignment of the fly wheel . There two different sizes.  Box flyer covers this in his videos.  But  with the tools it was very easy  ck all the clearance’s put the tool on to ck the cam timing. Perfect  time wise having never done this service both sides 3 hours.  Now if it wasn’t so cold out. I’d go for a ride.
