I enjoyed our ride out, despite the smaller group. Whilst it might have not worked for you, it did enable the event to go ahead.
I feel sorry for anyone who puts themselves out to organise a group meet. Some of the negative comments on here, must make it feel like it’s more trouble than it’s worth!
I understand that, but we broke the rules before we even met riding 7 to the meet by meeting up with David etc, then we didn't exactly follow it after when all met after for dinner.. :) I enjoy any ride out, and I can abide any rules imposed, but if imposed FULLY follow them, not pick what we follow and don't follow :)

Darren (Bob21) can't apologise enough mate, your thread has gone totally of track and is now on about covid restrictions, what we did and didn't do LAST year and what restrictions maybe in place in 5 months time.

This is exactly what I didn't want to happen.

Somebody start a pole on "shall we discuss Covid or not"
My vote NOT.  :silence:

David this thread isn't about you and whether you attend or not other members can and will be willing to lead a ride.

Darren has the full support of the attending members and everybody is grateful he has started to arrange this year's meet.

Last year the thread went of track with newspaper articles being posted, what letters had been written to local MP's for guidance on the 'guidelines ' and if people were actually going to turn up or not.
I posted earlier my concern that this years thread would go the same way and by the looks of it it already has.

Let's everyone get back to the positive vibes of this years meet and the mental picture of Simbo eating breakfast of Bob21 body and nibbling on his sausage.......

Now that's personal and upsetting, that was my best insulation tape and has only gone ' off line' due to White being the fastest colour and the tape wasn't up to the G forces

While we're talking about food, looks like there's a few good curry houses in the town.
That's if the hotel restaurant's a bit pants and Indian food's your thing.
