I didn't bother with the different wheels or levers but went for active cruise control, radio preparation and speakers, Sos call, brown seat, brown top box pad, top box brake light and surround. Think that was it for options above the LE model.

Get one brought but blue is the slower colour

Im toying with the idea of new one. CTC would be high. Mine has 42,000 on clock so at lowest price and wont drop much more now. Gunna test ride a goldwing also for fun but that is how it starts.

North Oxford sent out an email saying they were very keen to increase their used stock. I asked for a trade in value on my 2 year old , 10000 mile RT  (wasn't overly serious but could have been persuaded to change ). Reply was how does £11750 sound?

Sounds like I'll keep it.

Hi DaveCly
It's the same as the pictures you posted up, I nearly bought that one at Williams but the spec was just a LE with no options.

I wanted the radio prep as this comes with a different wiring loom, module and speakers fitted at factory,  without it you cannot retro fit a radio later down the line but rumor is you maybe able to plan music from the speakers via a BT add on.......

The delay in the bike turning up is the colour, it will only be 12% of the full production run so have to wait in line :(

At least it will be here for the RT weekend.

So do you pay extra for radio prep? I thought they were offering radio prep as they don't have any radios at the moment due to shortage of components. Or do you specify radio and pay for it, so when they get them, they fit them?

My 1250 is in for its 2 year service on the 16th April. Must keep my credit card in my pocket. Or I'll end up ordering a new bike. Last time I had no intention of trading my bike, went for a test ride and next day traded for my 1250.

The radio's where recalled as no good (according to BM) you pay £290 for the full prep and when they do a radio it just slots in under the body (£700ish I think he said) but without the prep you wouldn't be able to have a radio fitted.  If the BT idea works and you can play music from the bike speakers you wouldn't need to purchase a radio.  (if that makes sense)

Worth the wait mate, I was really impressed with the colour in the flesh, I’ll look forward to seeing it 😎

That makes sense. I had a radio on my 2014RT, never once played music through the speakers, always played through my BT headset. But found I didn't use it much so didn't bother with it on my 1250.
