Space for 15" MacBook Pro in 2014 R1200RT panniers

Does anyone know whether a 15" inch MacBook Pro will fit into the pannier of the new R1200RT LC? I currently own a R1200GSA which I use for work and need to replace the bike next year and fancy the new RT as a replacement.

I would say definitely not in the panniers.  The top box has provision for a laptop case in its lid. It hangs on 4 screwed butterfly clips but is only large enough to take something like a Microsoft Surface which is 12in. I have carried mine around in it for 3 years in my K1600 top box (same box as the RT)

It will not go into the panniers, but will in the topbox. I have a MacBook Pro,and have no problems to have it fit into the topbox, but no way I'm able to have it fit into the side bags.

(This is on my K1600, but as the RT are using the same bags and top box as the GTL - I assume it will have the same issue as the K1600)
