2005 1200RT colour codes: wheels, food peg plate, final drive (all greys)

Hi all,


does anyone have a tip where to retrieve colour codes for non-fairing parts? It's a 2005 RT. The colour scheme is 911 (red) – that much I have figured. That doesn't help because I want to touch up paint at the wheels, food peg holder, frame and final drive.


Any suggestions welcome  .

The OEM sites don't seem to list the paint colour for this year (2005) unfortunately. The link provided is indeed a good starting point - thanks a bunch.

@bieffe: REALLY? Wheels and FD have the same colour? Guess I do need to clean the wheels as they look much, much darker ;Pbe :eek:

The footrest hangers corroded badly on my 2005 RT - twice - because the OE powder-coating is wafer-thin. I had mine powder-coated properly and this lasted till I sold the bike. Since the bike was so old, I did not care about colour-matching and any old grey/silver was good enough.

Good idea John,
powder coating is a grand idea. Probably saves me from re-spraying them every other year.
