Thanks for a good weekend all.  Tim asked me to also pass on his thanks for an enjoyable ride.

I heard the ride was too spirited for some and too slow for others.  Perhaps next year, we should have an 'A' and 'B' team.  One for the tea drinking photographers, and one for the riders who want to make more progress.  Just a thought.

LOL you mean split the ride up. Joking aside, up for that as prefer to ride up to the legal posted limit, or I could borrow one of Diesel Dave's scooter's.
BUT. The whole point of marker system is that no one has to ride above their capabilities, also if in a large group and you find the pace above what you want to ride at, you simply need to wave people pass and you will pass them again as they mark junctions which also enables them to ride the road at their pace and yourself to not actually mark junctions. At times, everybody is just not in the mood or feeling at one/comfortable with the bike and wants to ride at a more relaxed pace.

I can imagine that works well, if the back marker stays at the back - LOL!
