Navigator 6
Re: Navigator 6
You need the car kit available from BMW for around 90 pounds. Now and again on eBay.

Sold one last week for £45. The 660 kit will work, but doesn’t have a speaker. The 660 kit has a speaker in the holder

Re: Navigator 6
The 660 I have has a speaker in the GPS device itself. When mounted in the car cradle, navigation voice prompts can be heard.

That is why you need a different holder with a speaker in it, because the Nav VI doesn't have a speaker in the unit, it uses bluetooth for comms only. Therefore the unit will work in a 660 cradle, but you will need an external bluetooth speaker if you want to listen to instructions. Or get hold of the Nav cradle which has a built in speaker on the rear of the cradle.
Re: Navigator 6
Be careful if bidding for one on ebay as a lot of people list it with a wrong part number, using the speaker part number (77528544460) when it is a non speaker device. There are a couple of what look like real ones for just over £80 at present

Re: Navigator 6
The correct cradle with a speaker is as per the photo posted above and confirmed with the BMW part no. supplied by PeteM.
