Just in the process of completing a purchase of used Helibar Risers (the simple 25mm spacer type). I am wondering if anyone has experience of fitting these and if so can recall any problems with the Brake / Clutch lines and Throttle Cables. (I have down loaded the Helibar fitting instructions).
My bike is a 2011 Twincam. Thanks.

Re: Helibar Risers (Any fitting Problems ?)
Interesting point to note in the video is that the guy mentions the "O" Ring which presumably is to stop ingress of water into the top of the Fork at the Stanchion Nut location. However, during assembly of the Riser he concludes that the machined "Relief" on the underside of the Riser is to" accommodate" the "O" ring. That doesn't make any sense to me as the in the original assembly it's the "Flat" surface of the underside of the handlebar which when bolted down in position seats onto the "O" Ring to form a seal.

The Helibars instructions do make reference to the "O" ring, therefore, you'd like to think that the seal between the two adjoining parts is not compromised.

"Take caution not to drop O-ring that seals fork tube mounting bolt."
These photographs don't look very convincing.

Found this photo, it confirms that the underside of the Helibar riser is indeed flat to form a seal with the "O" ring.
