BMW Motorrad now offer a Battery Charger PLUS, BMW Motorrad Battery Charger PLUS. CAN-Bus and Lithium-Ion Compatible – Cotswold BMW Motorrad Online

I wonder if that is new technology.

Casbar said it.  I think real world experience is what counts - the dealer wants happy customers (so that they keep coming back and spending money, I'd guess!).

Just purchased the Optimate 4 , instructions suggest this needs to be switched to program 2 for Canbus charging bit the instructions ate confusing. I would have thought it would be plug and play, any advice?
