For those if you who wear the Street Guard BMW jacket/pants, has anyone replaced the rather bulky yellow body armour with something softer i.e. D30 or similar.
I’ve just bought a suit 2nd hand, very smart and fits well but I find the armour a bit stiff and bulky, so looking for alternatives.

Re: BMW STREET GUARD body armour replacement
I haven't tried it yet because I'm trying to find a cheaper source but apparently the Sas-Tec Phantom as being sold by Motolegends gets a very good review.https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwjnt7Tl__n0AhUCQEEAHacnBp8QwqsBegQIMBAB&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3D-p7_JctoCIQ&usg=AOvVaw0WwdX1a2EHtO4wbVuaW5Zw

This eBay site looks like it may be the same stuff. Certainly level 2 and about half the price. Not sure if you would get clobbered with extra's when it came into the country.https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/293969786283 ... SwjQRfEHkX

Not BMW but I replaced the original armour in a Bering jacket with the D30 ghost armour and it made the jacket a lot more comfortable.
Might be worth buying a set of D30 or SAS Tec from Motolegends, trying it and if you don't like it send it back under their no quibble returns policy.

I've just taken the plunge and ordered a set for my jacket and a set for my trousers from the German site that I linked above. All in, including postage, around £60. I had a bit of a Google and from what I can see I shouldn't be hit with any extra costs upon delivery.
