Navigator V fault

Navigator V fault
Coming home today Nav V decided to give up the ghost, switched on ok but does not connect with a satellite , will not accept any details like trying to enter a postcode and appears to be frozen has anyone any idea,s on the problem ? can they be repaired ?

Is that the same as this Master Reset, Perform Master Reset on a BMW Motorrad Navigator V/VI | Garmin Supportsakm wrote:Try a factory reset first.
