Knee help... Footpeg Lowering?
Knee help... Footpeg Lowering?
Anyone tried a footpeg lowering kit to get more leg room? I'm coming from the comfier leg angle of a GS to the more cramped RT. The RT is WAY better for my commuting but would love to figure out a bit of knee help for me bad one, ha ha. I see Wunderlich America sells a kit for $293 which seems like a lot unless it really is awesome (and not too bad on lean angles!).

If it's a 2014 up then this may help, an Amazon seller doing Wunderlich copies for under £60 -

Ooo! It's a 2022. Thanks.
That would be perfect but not currently for sale.
(Prob got in trouble or something)

Re: Knee help... Footpeg Lowering?
Perfect video! Thanks!
Any vibration problems since the new pedals don't have rubber like the stock ones though?
Looks like they might be slick in the rain or something, just curious since I do a lot of rainy rides.
Great video quality and tutorial!

Thanks,
I’ve never had any slipping with these pegs in 78k miles.
For that entire time, I’ve been wearing Sidi Road boots and they bite into the peg very well with no slippage.
I also don’t get vibration in the pegs…the counter balance shaft in the engine does an excellent job of smoothing everything out.

That's super!
They won't confirm for me if they fit the '22 but I might give them a try.

I’m using the Suburban Machinery lowering kit on my ‘15. They make a world of difference for me (6’6”).

KC, it would be helpful if you can add your country of residence on your profile?

Can someone please advise me.? I have a little knee trouble and would like to lower the pegs a bit with maybe raising the seat too.
I can see how the pegs are lowered, but how does that affect the levers? Do they move too or is it a higher lift of the foot to operate them?
2020 model
Thanks in advance.

The kit includes a plate that moves the rear brake cylinder and slightly lowers the pedal, the gearchange is adjustable.
