Additional mirror

Post by slparry »

If you want to fit a handlebar mounted mirror on the throttle side of your wethead R12x0RT you need to replace the brake reservoir clamp with this off an R12x0GS. As they're replaced once a GS customer has driving lights fitted many workshops have them hanging about so a nice request may get a freebie :D

And if you don't want an extra mirror, but do want a place to mount a RAM ball, these 'pipe clamps' as BMW calls them work perfectly.

Depends on the year of the bike. What year is yours?

2018RT - don't know about earlier models.

Also, if you have a Jurock screen, the mirrors fitted to the "pipe clamps" idea won't work as the stem fouls the screen.
