R1250 RT Coolant Expansion Tank breather enquiry

Post by Tony Fyson »

Hi fellow RT owners

I noticed that the coolant expansion tank on my 2019 RT1250 does not have a breather pipe attached to the top of the tank. (see attached photo).

Should it have a breather pipe? If so, how should it be routed?
I've had the bike from new, and it has been dealer serviced. Is it possible that it never had an breather pipe?
