Has anyone got any recommendations for hotels or B&B's in north Wales?
Me and the wife are looking at booking a last minute getaway
We normally stay around the betws y coed area but you normally have to book well in advance to get what you want!

Re: North Wales accommodation
Stayed at the Glan Aber Hotel in Betws-y-Coed a few years ago. Very good with secure parking for the bike at rear of hotel. Asked for a 'Full English' for brekky but told they only do 'Full Welsh' which turned out to be a full English, no lava bread or seaweed or whatever. They did teach us how to pronounce Betoosycoyyd properly though. Anyway, duly chastened, we continued with our tour and stayed at The Greyhound in Builth Wells the next night. Wanting to appear fully compliant with Welsh national sensitivites we ordered 'Full Welsh' for brekky. They only did 'Full English'. All good natured though, both very good brekkies and excellent value overall. Even more important, fabulous biking.

Stayed there myself actually a fair few years ago but couldn't remember what the parking was like but you have confirmed that

Re: North Wales accommodation
Decided on this place https://www.waterloo-hotel.info/
booked and paid for
Then remembered my MOT tester telling me I had twice the legal limit on the rear tyre! So 2mm then which means 1mm usable
Decided to buy new tyres for the trip now and also ordered two for the wife's car.
Tonight has been bloody expensive
I need a drink
