From what I can see, all Optimate additional eyelet leads come with a 15A fuse, OptiMate UK, I have the TM71.

The new ones might be but the old original ones where half that


Its only since they started supplying other means of power cables and adaptors that this was increased to 15A


If someone already has a cable then it may well be an old one and have a smaller fuse and may require changing

Perhaps 15A is becoming standard now, this Motorworks auxiliary power socket kit comes with a 15A fuse, Auxiliary power socket kit Universal (motorworks.co.uk)

This would make good sense when the onboard, CAN-bus controlled sockets are limited to 10A in total.
