Hi all, newbie here.
I’ve been riding my Aprilia RSV (not enough!) for around 15 years now & recently tried persuading Mrsveetwin to get her own bike so we can do more together.
She’s keen to do some touring, but less so on riding herself - so my solution to riding my bike more often has been to buy another bike…
16 plate R1200RT being collected from Optimum Bikes in York next Wednesday
It’ll probably take me a month to suss out all the technology coming from a rather analogue bike, so I’m looking forward to the help & advice available on this forum. Nice to meet you.

Re: BMW newbie here.
Welcome... I'm new myself too, recent addition of the 1200RT... a bit older than yours, but I'm sure just as much fun.
I've owned a few bikes in my time, but I have to say the RT is the one that most makes me want to go out and cover miles.... you won't be disappointed!
