Hello,
My Names Greg, live just outside Edinburgh ( Scotland)
Just bought a 2005 R1200RT as replacement for a bike that was written off . Thought it maybe a stop-gap bike .. I think i maybe wrong.
Very low miles ( 32K) 2nd owner since new , new tyres & Service in May 2022 since then it did 90 miles.
Couple of things I want to change:
Not a fan of the bar risers , they are coming off but waiting on new bolts ( don't know if they are worth trying to sell)
May look at a different screen ?
Auto-com - intercom getting removed
Aftermarket radio wired in via Auto-com getting removed.
Would like to add running / spot lights seen photos of the fitted below the headlamp but can see a fitting kit ? or --suggestions how to fit them ?
I attend a lot of ex forces ride outs as part of the Royal British Legion Riders Branch and would like to fly a flag, any suggestion on mounts or how to's greatly received
mean while I will trawl over the forum and try and find bits and bobs on how to get the best out of the bike.
Cheers
Greg

Hi Greg, found this on BMWLT, https://www.bmwlt.com/threads/flag-moun ... rt.136546/
Cymarc might be able to manufacture something for an RT, https://www.cymarcbikeparts.co.uk/gsa-r ... -208-p.asp

Hi Greg, I did the RBLR 1,000 in June earlier this year on my RT. Great bike, great ride, great cause.
