Hello from Aberdeenshire!!

Post by Excellence »

Hi
I'm Paul.
Living in rural Aberdeenshire at the edge of the most beautiful riding country in the UK - IMHO!
Just acquired a 2021 R1250RT having vowed to a) never leave HONDA and b) to never buy a BMW.
I've been missing such a lot!!
Anyway I'm looking forward to learning about and enjoying the bike which I tend to have to share with a back seater.
Very happy to be here I think.
Regards to all
Paul S

Hi Paul and welcome.Funny you say that about Honda because I was exactly the same.Only thing that hasn't changed is the amount of money I've spent getting the RT to how I want it.Bikes, who'd have em

Thanks, chaps!
You're so right about the cost implications of motorcycling!
I'm an inveterate farkler and having almost finished prepping the RT I'm now stripping my old ST1300 Pan ready for a spring sale - what a job! 70k faultless miles!! I'm still learning how to ride the RT and enjoying every minute. Ballater ring route today with a couple of K16s - brilliant.
I think my last thing to sort on the RT is mounting my Zumo 590 as I'm not really getting along with my phone being monopolised by the TFT.
I'll get there.
