I take two locks with me.
1. A disclock for use if I'm just parking up to see something and the bike is going to be out of sight. And 2. a Litelok Core for overnight use, (regardless of how secure the secure parking claims to be). The Litelock isn't actually that light, but does kind of form a ring around the inside of my top box so isn't really that much of an issue to carry.

Xena alarmed disc lock on the front and rear, then some cheeky sh1t chains a GS to it ( of all things) If they want to cut of 2 Xena alarmed disc locks and a chain then fair play they've worked hard and can have it. Only down side is they will leave the GS....

Am A bit OTT when overnight from home. I have a heavy chain and a large padlock, forgot the make. An Oxford disc lock and a basic alarm. I use a when saying at a European trip as many have no gates. Whilst in Devon i just used the disc lock and the alarm as the farmhouse i was staying out was at the end of a 3 mile lane and my bedroom overlooked the bike.
The way i look at it is if any hundreds of miles from home, it's a bloody long walk

The lock arrived today and I have to say,on first looks,I like it.Feels very robust and an ideal size to pack away in the top box or even the tank bag.I may add the chain at a later stage but not really bothered about that at the moment.
Hopefully I never have to find out how good it is.
