Hello all,
New to the Forum, and a new owner of a 2005 R1200rt. Love it.
I've been a long-time motorcycle rider; started out on a mini-bike in 1969 and have owned many bikes since then. A 1999 Honda Blackbird, a 2010 Kawasaki Concours, a 2011 Suzuki V-Strom (wee), a 2013 Yamaha WR250R, a 2011 Suzuki TU250x, just to name a few. I'm a bit of a motorcycle junkie, and should probably be in a 12-step program
As mentioned above, have started a love affair with the RT.
When I become accustomed to this site, I will post about a couple small wrinkles I have encountered. (one is a fuel gauge not working despite the fuel strip being replaced less than two thousand miles ago.).
How are you all? Is everybody happy? If not, make the choice.

Welcome. The boxer engine character gets under the skin. Once a boxer owner you keep coming back to them
Trust me I am a retired Doctor and lecturer at Oxford University of Structural and Mechanical/Electrical engineering.
