Switched Power

Post by Rotordude »

Greetings,

I have a 2016 1200 RT and installed P3 lights and followed the instructions from Skeene. Used switched power from under the seat, facing the bike I tapped into the fused power box, slightly on the right side of, using the red and green wire. Light is supposed to come off when power is off but stays on for 60 sec. Did I use the wrong wire?

Appreciate the help.

From what has been described, I don't think so. The red/green wire at the fuse box is a switched live.

As per the Skene instructions, "Note: power remains on to this connection point for 45-60 seconds after the ignition is turned off."

Thanks for the response. I must have missed that piece of instruction.

Thanks again,
