Heard on the Grapevine

Post by Doctor T »

Overheard a conversation whilst at BMW today.
Thieves are hanging around at biker's cafes, Pubs and putting magnetic trackers on bikes they are interested in. They then track your beloved bike to your home address and steal it at a later date.
Just give an extra eye out for people that seem out of place in these areas.
Trust me I am a retired Doctor and lecturer at Oxford University of Structural and Mechanical/Electrical engineering.

Good of you to remind everyone about this, but unfortunately it's nothing new. Biker and Bike ran an article about this in '17 and the technology is bound to have got cheaper/smaller/better since. And now there are AirTags as well. As the man said, keep your eyes pealed.
