Wunderlinq/Blackboxembedded
Has anyone bought the Wunderlinq/Blackboxembedded phone mount? I have a Garmin XT but that doesn’t work with the wonder wheel but the Wunderlinq does. I know I’d need to use a nav app but it would be useful to be able to control my phone rather than leaning forwards trying to do things. Just wondered if anyone has any reviews of this. It works in a similar way to the BMW Connected cradle by the looks of things but is cheaper and you can use other apps with it.

Re: Wunderlinq/Blackboxembedded
I have the same question for my R1250Rt of 2019 without radio and bluetooth.
Perhaps it's possible to control my application GPS on my smartphone but before to buy I would like to be sure

Search for RikkyTang on YT. He has just fitted one to his R1250R.

Re: Wunderlinq/Blackboxembedded
Thinking out loud, I wonder if we could use this on the non LCD RT's and get rid of the Nav6 ..... just cant get along with the Nav6 especially annoying re the cost......
Would this effectively give us Apple car play on our phone screen? Interested to see how Mozza gets on..

Re: Wunderlinq/Blackboxembedded
Be careful R1250R is similar to GS12**
Because with R12*0RT the magic wheel is used to manage the display of these bikes until 2020. And the problem is that I don’t find information on how to switch between bike display and smartphone application

Thanks for your interest in the WunderLINQ. The WunderLINQ is compatible with your bike, please see this https://blackboxembedded.com/pages/wund ... mpatiblity for details. Our usage https://blackboxembedded.github.io/Wund ... ml#line2_1 also goes over how it would work with an RT cluster.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Thanks,

For me isn't clear, because I don't understand how do I enter the wunderlinq menu on my smartphone?
I hope your support and experience

This looks like it confirms using with non LCD Rt's....... old footage but as previous message they say it works with the older style bikes.

Re: Wunderlinq/Blackboxembedded
Hello from France,
I received my Wunderlinq and after some work to install it inside my bike I discover it
Some pictures of my cradle
When I watche the video, I see that the explanation is different of the documentation of Wunderlinq.
For exemple, I must using the menu GPS of my dashboard for control Wunderlink application.
On the video I see that the person turn the whell for navigated inside the wunderlinq menu ?
If I turn the whell, I navigate inside the GPS menu inside my dashboard ???
To be continued......

Re: Wunderlinq/Blackboxembedded
I am in the same position fitted to a non-TFT, so control
Is via the menu for navigation only. Difficult to control, not very responsive if you can get it to work. Probably wouldn’t waste the money on it again.

Re: Wunderlinq/Blackboxembedded
It's clear that this product isn't made for our bikes but as I bought this one second hand 100 € I keep it.
It's usefull when I need to zoom out the map of my GPS Cruiser.
Unfortunatly it the sams problem with native GPS BMW you must use the menu present in the dash board

In fact I used a basic cradle and 15mm tall M4 brass standoffs.
If you need more informations ask me
After some explanations by Keith of Wunderlinq I begin to appreciate this product
