Did you see this from MAX BMW Parts List, "Dimensions: 195mm x 85mm x 175mm (7x7x3")."
Wunderlich America say that the Exide GEL Battery is identical to the BMW OEM Battery, https://www.wunderlichamerica.com/Motor ... erlich_BMW
Dimensions 185 x 80 x 170mm
The above dimensions are confirmed by Exide themselves, https://www.exidegroup.com/eu/en/battery/GEL12-19

Yes, I have spoken to Tayna Batteries and they have confirmed this is correct.

That is a lot of CCA and then some.

Although I've never had a Banner battery, if I was to upgrade, I would certainly consider one. It's GEL 52101, which going by the Exide 12-19 has a very low discharge rate when stored, is the correct physical size and 80% more CCA.

FWIW, I went to start my Suzuki but all that happened was just click-click-click.
Battery is an Exide AGM which I bought 6/2020. It has been in battery tender every now and then, last time a month ago.
After two hours in tender it showed full but when I tried to start it just bogs. Time for a new battery for this bike too but this time some other brand.

Found this video, thought it might complement this thread, enjoy.
Only 3 points between them but GEL comes out on top, GEL 16/22, AGM 14/22, FLA 13/22 & Li+ 13/22.

FWIW, just noticed by accident that battery dealer had -15% this weekend so after agonizing days of going back and forth I finally ordered:
- Exide AGM 12-18 for BMW
- Exide AGM ETX14AHL-BS for Suzuki
Too much time, too many alternatives.
