Hi, I’m coming in from the R1200GS dark side. Presently waiting for delivery of a 2011 RT and collection of the 2008 GS I have ridden for the past 3 years.
A lot of the motorcycle miles I do are long hauls across the country to get to the mountains that are sadly lacking in East Anglia. I am looking forward to the extra comfort the RT should provide on such journeys.

My new-to-me RT arrived on Saturday and today was the first phase of personalisation.
I wouldn’t normally buy a tarmac-coloured vehicle because they are too easily lost to sight on a grey day on grey roads. However, twin cam RTs come only in shades of grey, so no choice.
So my first farkle was to add some hi-viz reflective tape:
