Riding in France. New Rules ?

Post by Doctor T »

Just read a post about new laws regarding riding in France. Am not sure about all of it so am taking it with a pinch of salt.
1. No lane splitting anymore. When i was last in Paris everyone was lane splitting.
2. A hi-vis vest/jacket must be worn at all times.
3. Motorcycles must carry a warning triangle like our 4 wheel friends do.
Is there any truth in these new rules? Being France it wouldn't surprise me

Don’t have to carry a warning triangle , it says you have to carry a hi viz vest for when stopped at the road side.

Thanks for the link. Ive always carry a hi-viz vest and a first aid kit with me. The writer mentioned Tolls. I mostly travel by "N" routes. Am on holiday so i want to see the views rather that the boring "A" routes.
