Newbie from Calif
Long time K1200s and k1200gt rider who has rented a few RT’s in Europe. Just picked up a 2018 RT with less than 3,000 miles on it. Adding some Pirelli Angel GT-A’s, painted top Heed crash bars and Clearwater lights, painted top case to match and looking forward to many happy miles!

Re: Newbie from Calif
I always fancied a K1200 but have heard too many horror stories about the ABS. Anyway, welcome.Beem530i wrote: ↑Tue Feb 14, 2023 4:30 pm Long time K1200s and k1200gt rider who has rented a few RT’s in Europe. Just picked up a 2018 RT with less than 3,000 miles on it. I still have the S and the GT - both 2006. Other than the obnoxious noise, never a problem with ABS on either of them. Enjoying my RT though. Will prob keep the S for 1 up day trips and use the RT for 2 up and longer rides.
