Been looking for some sort of manual or DVD to help with any future servicing / repair now the warranty has ran out. Found this after an Internet search http://jimvonbaden.com/Shiftcam_Video.html
Has anyone had any experience with it? It's based on the 1250 GS, but most of the bike parts are the same. Thanks in advance.

Doesn’t the 1250 require shims for valve adjustment? I don’t see them in his tool section.
Just want to make sure the video is applicable before I spend $40.
