Oxfordshire garage advice

Post by Windy »

I'm picking up my new to me bike next week and want to get it serviced. I'm in Oxford. There is a Motorad main dealer but I've never been one for using main dealers, so I wondered if anyone on here could recommend an independent BMW bike specialist not a million miles away? I don't mind a bit of a trip so open to suggestions.
Cheers

If you've lifted a spanner and have a basic tool kit before, a 2005 bike is so simple to service yourself and will cost you under £90. My 2007 before i purchased it was always serviced by BMW Oxford but for a bike in our age range, would never go down that route. Try Dave Clark. 01865 247420. Never used them but ive heard they have a good reputation.
Trust me I am a retired Doctor and lecturer at Oxford University of Structural and Mechanical/Electrical engineering.

A bit late to the discussion.
I can also recommend GP Performance - near H Cafe.
He generally doing all brands, recently had my wifes HD on service there, and I'm really happy with outcome.
