Hello all, I have recently purchased a new 2023R1250RT, and while waiting for delivery, I have checked in on this forum frequently. I already own a 2020S1000RR, which is an incredible machine, but it is a lot like a thoroughbred horse; one tends to ride it for what it's good at but not for 350-mile highway rides two-up. And so, I have added a sport tourer to my garage. It is exactly what I wanted and I enjoy riding both my bikes in the way each was intended.
I have only one thing I would like to change on the RT and I am hoping that someone here might be able to point me in the right direction. I am used to fine-tuning my steering damper and the RT's is not adjustable. The dealer provided no help there, so I am hoping someone in the forum might be able to steer me towards an adjustable steering damper. Thanks

Hi and welcome to the forum
Have a look to see if you can get a hyperpro one across there somewhere

Wow, that was fast! I've followed the links to each site, and although the steering damper images to not appear correct, I now can contact each supplier and see what I can learn. Thanks!

There's a solution out there but it's just finding the right one for you
As I suspect those dampers may well fit on the top rather than underneath

Re: RT Adjustable Steering Damper
It looks like the steering dampers for the 2023RT model year changed, although I need to verify that tomorrow. In the meantime, I'll take a few photos, send them to each of the resellers suggested, and post them here. As soon as I learn something I'll share it. Thanks again!

Re: RT Adjustable Steering Damper
My 2007 Rt doesn't have a steering damper. I've always wondered why not since i purchased the bike whilst other models of the same year do. To be honest in one way i can see why BMW fit one as the steering is spot on
