New TC owner

Post by SimonD »

After considering RTs for the last 7/8 years I've finally decided that there is really only one way to find out if they are for me. I was originally going to try an 1100 but the London Ulez Zone meant that the only safe option on the older bikes was a Twin Spark 1150. I couldn't find anything at a reasonable price and wanted to avoid early 1200s. Anyway, a while back I managed to get hold of an early TC SE at a fair price and have been sprucing it up in preparation for this summer.
I have been using my Buell Ulysses for touring for the past few years but want a bike that can cope better with a passenger and winter weather. I'll be keeping an eye open for tips and advice on the forum and hope to contribute with my own experiences.
For now, the Uly stays as well as an older Buell but I really only want to keep two bikes. I'll give it a year to work out which one goes!
