throttle body sync question

Post by audibob2 »

The last two boxers I owned were air heads, R100/7 and R80 , both needed manual throttle body sync using an air flow meter

stuck on the carb intakes, plus cable adjustment.

I was surprised to find my 2015 is balanced automatically.

I have two questions:

Firstly, I presume there are stepper motors on the intakes which are controlled via the ECU, can this actuation be monitored via the GS911?

If so, can the actuators be set to zero should it be required , say after high mileages and remedial spanner work.

I would love to know, just out of interest more than anything else.

Not sure on actually monitoring them with the GS-911
