Instruments shroud 2009 RT
Sorry, can’t seem to upload a photo. This concerns the decorative silver-colored shroud/frame surrounding the main instrument cluster. It popped off at about 70 mph but I managed to catch it. There seems to be no method of attachment around the speedo/tack cluster. No raised tabs etc. either on the shroud, or on the cluster. There are two slots/holes on the bottom, just outboard of the odometer and clock buttons, but I can’t feel or see any corresponding tabs either on the cluster itself or the opening into which it fits, that would snap into the slots. There are no slots on the top of the shroud. I can’t find any reference to the shroud in the Haynes, manual, and the Motorrad parts diagram show a slightly different shroud. Any experience or ideas for fixing it to the cluster short of superglue?
