Hey guys! I hope you're all having a great day. I wanted to start a conversation about other sports that you all enjoy, in addition to biking. Personally, I'm a big fan of ping pong and love to play whenever I can. Lately, I've been having some trouble with my paddles and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for good brands or models to look into.
What other sports do you enjoy playing or watching? Do you have any tips for improving in those sports or recommendations for equipment? Let's chat!

I love playing Table tennis and I wanted to share my experience of how my riding has impacted this sport I'm passionate about. Actually, cycling contributed to a significant improvement in my tennis game as well! It's amazing how different activities can complement each other and lead to overall improvements in our physical and mental wellbeing.
If you're a fan of ping pong, I recently came across some great paddle options https://pingpongacademy.org/best-ping-pong-paddles/. They offer a range of paddles that can provide better spin control and power, without breaking the bank. Who knows, maybe riding and ping pong have some synergy too!

Drowning worms… otherwise known as sea fishing.
In spite of the original intent of catching fish I find that a few hours of sitting on a beach or pier watching the waves is a thoroughly pleasurable way of relieving the stress of daily life, which is probably as well ‘cos there’s not a lot of fish to catch anymore!
Otherwise than that I’d like to get back into cycling, but the horrendous traffic and the state of the roads has so far dissuaded me.

Re: What other sports do you prefer?
I enjoy golf and shooting sporting clays. I’m in a local golf league and play one night week. The sporting clays I usually shoot with my son and grandson. The grandson is in college now, so the shooting has slowed down.
